Mister President,
I would like to thank you for the kind remarks which you addressed to me following our meeting with the Israeli and Palestinians students of the BBB program.
The initiative which you have put in place with the " Bridge of Peace " deserves all of our encouragement, and I would like you to know that I am very happy for its success.
I would like to honour your devotion in favour of a noble cause, that of peace, which we hope will find new messengers in these Israeli and Palestinian students. You know of all of the attention that the President of the Senate gives to the resolution of the Israeli Palestinians conflict, as well as his profound attachment to the necessity of creating conditions for a durable reconciliation of these populations: this is the only message which we would like to send out through our contribution. We thank you for giving us the opportunity to do so.
